Meet the Team

Lucy is the Programme Manager responsible for the successful management and delivery of The Northumberland Small Business Service. Having worked at Advance Northumberland for 10 years, Lucy is an experienced Programme Manager and most recently managed the successful business support programme Business Northumberland, managing it since its conception in 2015.

Katy is responsible for ensuring that the project remains compliant and that all applications for funding meet the criteria set by NTCA and UKSPF. Katy has previously supported publicly funded projects such as the Rural Design Centre Innovation Project and the Northumberland COVID19 Business Response Programme. Prior to working in business support, Katy spent over 20 years working in various roles across the UK within the Hospitality sector.

Heather has a background in working in events and marketing and has worked successfully with previous business support programme, Business Northumberland.

Liz has a strong background in education and training, working with SMEs throughout the North East Region through a variety of funding streams. She has a wealth of experience in business management and supporting businesses to grow. A varied career she has worked in the private, public and voluntary sector as well as managing her own business.

Chris has over 15 years working with pre start / established businesses and has ran his own business for about 6 years. He has several years of experience working in the rural areas of Northumberland.

Emma has a strong background in sales, fundraising, account management, business support and events. She has proven expertise in establishing rapport and building trust with businesses from a variety of backgrounds. Emma has worked in both the private and public sectors.
